Titi Nagwala, formerly of Milele FM, publicized Tuesday that he is joining the Standard Group’s Radio Maisha.
This, he did on Instagram when he posted details of his Press Card indicating that he belongs to the SG.
Earlier on, a mole hinted to the 47 Reporters that he would be joining Radio Maisha or Radio Jambo.
The 47 Reporters can verify that the self-proclaimed Mfalme wa Rumba is likely going to replace Nick Odhiambo on Maisha’s Rumba program, which runs from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Arguably, Odhiambo is a lesser Rumba program maestro when compared to Nagwala, considering that he joined Maisha from Classic 105 – an English broadcasting station, whereas the latter has been on the decks for a very long time.
In 2020, Media Max Network, which houses Milele Fm, terminated contracts with over 40 journalists. Titi was among the casualties.
Unknown to many, Nagwala is an engineer by profession who chose to pursue journalism as a passion.
Previously he has worked with Radio Citizen and Kenya Broadcasting Cooperation(KBC).
