Acording to Business today website, Munyori Buku (public communications), Eric Ng’eno (messaging), Dennis Itumbi (digital communications and diaspora), James Kinyua (branding and events) and Munira Mohammed, are now operating from Deputy President William Ruto’s Harambee House Annex office.
Itumbi has been, in the past , an ardent defender of the president’s office but things might be heading south for him. Going by his posts on social media, he is slowly reducing the number of posts in regards to the presidents office and instead focusing on national important issues. For Instance , few days ago,he was acting as an online ‘communications person’ for energy Cs Charles Keter and Kenya power managing director Ken Tarus after the Revelations of inflated power bills and unresponsive pre-paid token purchases scandal that is yet to be unearthed.
Sources in the government have hinted that all government communications shall soon be handled by the interior ministry. However, Manoah Esipisu shall remain at state house as he doubles up as state house’s spokesperson.
