The number of Covid19 recovery cases in Rwanda has risen to seventy six outstripping the active cases that tallies at 71.
In a statement by the Ministry of Health of Rwanda on Monday, citizens were urged to follow all directives laid out by the government to battle the spread of Coronavirus in the country.
Worth noting is Rwanda has not recorded any corona related Death, with the ministry confirming all the patients are in a stable condition.
Wearing face masks in public has from Monday been made mandatory, Rwanda’s health minister Daniel Ngamije said on Saturday.
Mr Ngamije said the latest guidelines require everyone to wear a mask in public, and at home during the lock-down and thereafter.
“From next Monday local companies will start making masks to help supply affordable quantities on the market. Wearing masks will be effective in preventing spread of COVID-19,” he said.
Unnecessary movement and visits outside the home is prohibited except for essential services such as health care, food or banking, and for those performing such services.
