This is from a sample of 5393 with Youngest being a 6-month infant, while the oldest is 83 years old.
In some bad news,5 more patients died from the virus, bringing the death fatality to 369.
58 patients have been discharged from various hospitals, bringing the total number of recoveries to 8,477.
A statement shared by health cabinet secretary Mutahi Kagwe with newsrooms indicates Nairobi is the leading with 535 cases.
CS Mutahi Kagwe raised an alarm over the increasing number of young people contracting the deadly virus.
“We are increasingly seeing younger and younger people passing away. They are continuing to do so even in homes and we want to urge that people stop socializing and stop going to gatherings because this is where this disease is spreading,” he said.
