Advocacy program me against slave trade has been launched in Kenya with an aim of educating masses on modern day slavery
Through stakeholders like Justice Africa and the Trust East Africa Rise up, the project targets school going children and the youth, to warn them of possible dangers of migration.
This will be achieved through creative workshops of art and music as already seen in various schools within Dandora area in Nairobi.
Human organ trade is said to be a lucrative business today and migrants fall prey to agents who sell them mercilessly to buyers looking for body organs. Though the impact is not felt in Kenya yet, it is feared slave trade and body organ sale could find its way through youth migration in the Middle East
